| Detail | Route Improvement Work Network Rail are undertaking overhead line renewal work between Shenfield and Chelmsford
Trains between Liverpool Street and Chelmsford, Colchester, Clacton, Ipswich and Norwich will not run between Liverpool Street and Chelmsford.
For passengers to stations south of Ipswich, train services will run Liverpool Street from to Billericay where buses will run to Chelmsford for forwarding train services to Ipswich and Clacton with connections for branch services. Norwich Intercity services will run between Norwich and Colchester only.
Passengers for Ipswich and stations beyond Ipswich should travel on Stansted Express services via Stansted Airport and then express buses between Stansted Airport and Ipwich. Trains will run from Ipswich to Norwich, Peterborough and Lowestoft.
Passengers from Ingatestone will have a local bus service to/from Chelmsford and Shenfield for connecting train services. Please refer to revised timetables below. |
