Quiet Zone

Our mainline InterCity line from Norwich to London (and vice versa London to Norwich) offers a Quiet Zone to give customers who wish to travel without excess noise, the opportunity to sit in a quiet carriage away from mobile phones and audio devices.

Where is it?

The Quiet Zone is normally in Coach B standard class and in Coach H first class.

Customers travelling in the Quiet Zone should observe the following rules:

• No making or receiving mobile phone calls in this carriage. Please go to the vestibule at the end of the carriage to talk on your phone.
• Use all electrical equipment in silent mode.

• If chatting with fellow passengers, please do so quietly and with consideration for others.
