To enquire about lost property, to check if we have found property or to report an item lost or mislaid on one of our trains or at one of our stations, please fill in this contact form.

Please be prepared to provide the following information to the advisor when calling:
- where you were travelling from
- the time you were travelling
- a description of the item lost i.e. luggage, holdall,...
- where on the train it was left
- name and contact information
Charging for the retrieval of lost items
We operate a scale of charges covering the cost of retrieval of lost items. Charges are based on the type of article. These charges are set within the guidelines agreed to by all train operators. We do not make a charge for any items that are reclaimed within 24 hours of being found.
The general scale of charges is shown below:
Band A: £20.00 charge |
Laptops, video cameras, palm held PCs |
Band B: £10.00 charge |
Mobile telephones, pagers, MP3 players |
Band C: £5.00 charge |
CD players, skis, surfboards, musical instruments, jewellery, watches, cameras, cycles, luggage, suitcases, briefcases, rucksacks |
Band D: £3.00 charge |
Clothing, sports bags |
Band E: £2.00 charge |
Umbrellas, spectacles, keys, prams/pushchairs, books, filofaxes, hats, gloves, scarves, all other items not listed |
