Colchester North Is Named Best Mainline Station For April

Staff at National Express East Anglia’s Colchester North station are celebrating after being presented with a ‘Best Mainline Station’ award after attaining a score of 97% for operational standards during April.

The Service Quality Survey scores are audited by an independent team appointed by the Department for Transport. During April 100 National Express Stations were audited and the score achieved put Colchester as the top placed Mainline station.

Andrew Goodrum National Express East Anglia’s Mainline Business Director commented:

‘I would like to congratulate the staff at Colchester North station for achieving such high standards in April. The staff’s efforts, hand in hand with our additional investments in customer facilities at the station have all helped to contribute to this excellent score.’

On Friday 2 May National Express East Anglia Managing Director Andrew Chivers presented Denis Beacher of the Colchester North station team with a certificate and congratulated him on their achievements.
