Disruption to train services 2/3rd January 2008
CLAIMING COMPENSATION
We're sorry if your travel and work plans were disrupted by Network Rail's over-running engineering work at London Liverpool Street on 2nd and 3rd January 2008.
We are determined to compensate those of our passengers, who suffered severe disruption, at very short notice, when Network Rail's work to renew overhead line equipment on the approach to London Liverpool Street station, took over 24 hours longer than scheduled to be completed.
Who can claim what ?
Season ticket holders
We will refund, in cash, the pro-rata equivalent of a days travel at your Season Ticket rate.
Mainline and Metro passengers, (from stations between Norwich, Ipswich, Colchester, Chelmsford, Southend and Shenfield and London Liverpool Street), are entitled to claim for both Wednesday and Thursday (2 & 3 January).
West Anglia passengers,(from stations between Cambridge, Hertford East, Enfield Town and Chingford and Liverpool Street, are entitled to claim for Wednesday (2 January)
Other ticket holders
Passengers should claim for the journeys on which they were affected, giving details of the delay encountered, by using our Delay-Repay form.
