Journeycheck Alerts sign up to receive SMS text or email alerts when things go wrong.

We know that punctuality and reliability are the most important service attributes and will continue to work to achieve further improvements on those we have made in the last twelve months.

However we also know that there will be times when things go wrong and when they do it’s very important to our customers that we tell them. We introduced JourneyCheck Alerts to help improve our information to you when things go wrong.

Journeycheck Alerts is a new service for regular travellers where we will send you an email or SMS text alert to your mobile phone when we know that delays are likely to affect the train service you normally travel on.

Journeycheck Alerts is available now and to take advantage of this service all you need to do is register your mobile phone and email address here and tell us what route and what times you normally travel. Then, if there is a problem that we think will affect your regular train service, we’ll send you a SMS text alert or email - as preferred – to warn you. You can select to receive a text for one direction of travel and an email for the other – it’s up to you.

And if you don’t receive a message – we’re not expecting any problems!
